Read Galatians 4:1 through 6:18
John walked home from his office after work as usual. It was snowing, but he kept to his regular route. Arriving home, he realized he had forgotten his five-year-old son. The boy was supposed to meet John at his office, across the street from the school. The doorbell rang, and, to his surprise, it was his son. John inquired, “How did you know the way?”
The boy replied, “I didn’t know! I saw your footsteps in the snow, and walked in them until they led me home.”
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. . . . Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit (Galatians 5:22– 23,25).
A person’s outward climate of daily life often changes with difficulties. People may find themselves feeling forgotten. In the midst of a storm, Christians can recognize the footsteps of God their Heavenly Father. Walking in His footsteps will always lead them safely home.
Challenge for Today:
